The Borlan Fluid BL101-1 integrated union sight glass light combines a vessel viewing opening and a light in one compact, classic-style assembly. It is intended for projects that need an observation point with illumination at the same connection. The 2025 Borlan catalog lists halogen or LED light-source options for BL101-1. Specify the required light source when requesting a quotation so that the electrical package and installation drawing can be checked together.
One connection for viewing and lighting
A union-style integrated sight glass light can help operators inspect a vessel through a dedicated viewing point while the light illuminates the process area. The BL101-1 catalog view shows the circular union body and the light module beside the opening. BL101-1 is the catalog’s classic version. It should be specified separately from BL101-2, which is a different model. Do not substitute another model’s dimensions or electrical information when planning the mounting space for BL101-1.
BL101-1 catalog reference dimensions
The catalog drawing labels the connection diameter D, overall diameter D1 and height H. The four listed sizes are shown below in millimetres. These are catalog references; request an approved drawing for the selected assembly before machining or welding the vessel connection.
